Footnote 18 of my paper.....in consideration with Hannah Arendt

On page 244 of “What Psychological States are Not”, Block and Fodor write, “The assumption that organisms are parallel processors will look quite different from the kind we get on the assumption they are serial processors."

Fodor, as in, Jerry? Have you read the stuff on the Computational Theory of Mind argument between Fodor and Pinker?

No I haven't read anything between Fodor and Pinker. I've dealt more with the 'qualia argument' between Ned Block and Sydney Shoemaker. Did Hilary Putnam do work on Computational Theory of Mind?
